Tianfeiyang Yun erhielt seine pianistische Ausbildung an der Middle School Affiliated to the China Conservatory of Music in Peking, wo er frühzeitig eine spezialisierte Förderung im Hauptfach Klavier erfuhr. Sein Bachelorstudium an der Hochschule für Musik Saar bei Prof. Thomas Duis schloss er mit Bestnote ab. Anschließend absolvierte er dort die Masterstudiengänge Klavier bei Prof. Thomas Duis und Kammermusik bei Prof. Tatevik Mokatsian, beide mit Bestnote.

Derzeit setzt er seine künstlerische Ausbildung im Konzertexamen Klavier bei Prof. Thomas Duis sowie im Konzertexamen Kammermusik bei Prof. Tatevik Mokatsian an der Hochschule für Musik Saar fort.

Als mehrfacher Preisträger internationaler Wettbewerbe, darunter der Les Rencontres Internationales des Jeunes Pianistes in Brüssel und des Roma International Piano Competition, tritt er regelmäßig als Solist und Kammermusiker auf. 2023 gründete er das Yun Trio, ein internationales Kammermusikensemble, mit dem er regelmäßig konzertiert und sich sowohl dem klassischen Repertoire als auch der zeitgenössischen Musik widmet.

Neben seiner Konzerttätigkeit ist Tianfeiyang Yun als Klavierpädagoge an der Musikschule Saar in Saarbrücken tätig. Sein künstlerisches Repertoire umfasst Werke vom Barock bis zur zeitgenössischen Musik, mit Schwerpunkten im solistischen und kammermusikalischen Bereich.

Tianfeiyang Yun received his early piano training at the Middle School Affiliated to the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing, where he received specialized artistic training in piano from an early age. He completed his Bachelor of Music at the Hochschule für Musik Saar with top marks under Prof. Thomas Duis. He subsequently completed Master’s degrees in Piano with Prof. Thomas Duis and Chamber Music with Prof. Tatevik Mokatsian, both with top marks.

He is currently continuing his artistic training at the Hochschule für Musik Saar in the Konzertexamen Piano programme with Prof. Thomas Duis and the Konzertexamen Chamber Music programme with Prof. Tatevik Mokatsian.

A prizewinner of several international competitions, including the Les Rencontres Internationales des Jeunes Pianistes in Brussels and the Roma International Piano Competition, he regularly performs as a soloist and chamber musician. In 2023, he founded the Yun Trio, an international chamber ensemble with which he performs regularly and which focuses on both classical repertoire and contemporary music.

Alongside his performing career, Tianfeiyang Yun teaches piano at the Musikschule Saar in Saarbrücken. His artistic repertoire ranges from the Baroque to contemporary music, with a particular focus on solo and chamber music.
