Tianfeiyang Yun erhielt seine pianistische Ausbildung an der Middle School Affiliated to the China Conservatory of Music in Peking, wo er frühzeitig eine spezialisierte Förderung im Hauptfach Klavier erfuhr.Nach seinem mit Bestnote abgeschlossenen Bachelorstudium an der Hochschule für Musik Saar studiert er derzeit im Masterstudium Klavier bei Prof. Thomas Duis sowie im Masterstudium Kammermusik bei Prof. Tatevik Mokatsian.

Als mehrfacher Preisträger internationaler Wettbewerbe – darunter Preisträger bei den Les Rencontres Internationales des Jeunes Pianistes in Brüssel sowie beim Roma International Piano Competition in Rom – tritt er regelmäßig als Solist und Kammermusiker in Erscheinung. 2023 gründete er das Yun Trio, mit dem er eine kontinuierliche Konzerttätigkeit entfaltet.

Neben seiner künstlerischen Laufbahn ist er als Klavierpädagoge an der Musikschule Saar in Saarbrücken tätig. Sein künstlerisches Spektrum reicht von der Klassik bis zur zeitgenössischen Musik, wobei er sowohl im solistischen Bereich als auch in der Kammermusik künstlerische Schwerpunkte setzt.

Tianfeiyang Yun received his early piano training at the Middle School Affiliated to the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing, where he was given specialized artistic training in piano from an early age. He completed his Bachelor of Music with top marks at the Hochschule für Musik Saar and is currently pursuing Master’s degrees in Piano (Prof. Thomas Duis) and Chamber Music (Prof. Tatevik Mokatsian).

A prizewinner of several international competitions, including awards in Brussels and Rome, he appears regularly as both a soloist and chamber musician. In 2023, he founded the Yun Trio, with which he maintains an active concert schedule.

Alongside his performance career, he teaches piano at the Musikschule Saar in Saarbrücken. His repertoire ranges from classical to contemporary music, with artistic focuses in both solo and chamber music.
